CIE SECONDARY PROGRAM 1
CIE Secondary Program 1 (Grades 6 to 8)
Lower Secondary Program or Secondary Program 1 for 11-14yrs (Grade 6 to 8) provides a seamless progression from Primary or can be used as a standalone Educational Programme to develop learners skills and confidence in English, Mathematics and Science. It offers an Educational Programme framework for educational success for learners, typically 11-14 years old, with an optional testing structure which includes a variety of items commonly used in the day to day life like eating, putting on a costume and so on. CIE Secondary Program 2 (Grades 9 and 10)

We know students are learning for life. Rather than just helping the students getting good grades and giving students passports for immediate progression, we need a school educational programme to give students the skills that will bring lifelong success in tomorrow's world.
Cambridge Secondary 2 is typically for learners aged 14 - 16 years (Grade 8 and 10). It builds on the foundations of Cambridge Secondary 1, and supports schools using learner centered and enquiry-based approaches to learning and at the end of Cambridge Secondary 2, learners gain Cambridge CIE qualifications. Cambridge Secondary 2 provides excellent progression to the next stage of Cambridge International Education - Cambridge Advanced for 16 - 19 years - as well as other progression routes like IB Diploma.

Cambridge international programme offers routes; candidates can follow from post-kindergarten stage through to university entrance. Cambridge's provision also includes first-class support for teachers through publications, online resources, training, workshops and professional development.
At TIPS, we currently offer Cambridge Primary, typically for 5-11 year olds. The Cambridge Primary programme frameworks identify a comprehensive set of learning objectives for English, Mathematics and Science for each year of primary education, which:
- Provide a natural progression through the six years of primary education
- Provide a valuable structure that focuses on what children should be able to do at each of the primary stages
Recognition in India
CIE is recognized by CBSE, CISCE and state education boards in India as a qualification for entry to class XI or for other higher secondary education courses. It is also recognized as class X qualification, as one of the prerequisites, for admission to undergraduate courses in India. CIE issues separate mark sheets for Cambridge Programme; one with Grades and the other with marks, so that students do not face any difficulty in securing admission in regular Colleges.

IB Primary Years Programme
Students are inspired and challenged to develop a sense of inquiry, love for learning and to take responsibilities in life academically and personally. The essential goal of the Primary Program is to have each child become an independent learner while valuing the interdependence in the world during the five essential forming years of life. It offers a balance between learning about or through the subject areas, and learning beyond them.
Evaluation is an ongoing process which happens throughout their learning process and happens through different forms. TIPS educate the students to care and respect the school community and community in which they live.
IB Diploma Programme (IB DIPLOMA)
The IB Diploma Programme (DP) is an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepares students, aged 16 to 19, for success at university and life beyond. It has been designed to address the intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being of students. The programme, has gained recognition and respect from the world's leading universities.
The Diploma Programme core
The extended essay asks students to engage in independent research through an in-depth study of a question relating to one of the DP subjects they are studying. The world studies extended essay option allows students to focus on a topic of global significance which they examine through the lens of at least two DP subjects.
Theory of knowledge develops a coherent approach to learning that unifies the academic disciplines. In this course on critical thinking, students inquire into the nature of knowing and deepen their understanding of knowledge as a human construction.
Creativity, action, service (CAS) involves students in a range of activities alongside their academic studies throughout the Diploma Programme. Creativity encourages students to engage in the arts and creative thinking.
Action seeks to develop a healthy lifestyle through physical activity. Service with the community offers a vehicle for a new learning with academic value. The three strands of CAS enhance students' personal and interpersonal development through experiential learning and enable journeys of self-discovery.
Recognition in India
Since 1983, IB has been recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as an entry qualification to all Universities in India. The IB is committed to support large proportion of students who wish to remain in India for their undergraduate studies and creating pathways to enable more students to consider this option.
With the requirement for percentage conversion by universities in India, students applying to Indian universities receive a transcript with IB grades and percentage equivalent recognized by Indian universities.
